• Деятельность: Project IHRC is dedicated at promoting overall attention to the increasing cases of human rights violations and protecting the rights of people throughout European continent. In a world where inequality and all kinds of rights violation deprive entire communities of dignity, justice and life, we seek to uphold Europe as a human rights benchmark for the rest of the world. We stand with victims and activists to prevent discrimination, to uphold freedoms, to advocate people from unfair conduct, to initiate public debates over the issue, and to bring offenders to justice. Specific Objectives of the Project IHRC: ◦To draw attention to the fact that human rights issue is an ongoing problem in the European Continent as well ◦To put start on thinking that Europe is not free from human rights violations ◦To start the criticism, which Western countries feel rather should be free from for the sheer fact they developed enough to deal with problems by themselves solely and exclusively. ◦To effectively withstand the growth of xenophobia sentiments and oppose the infringement of natural human rights Due to the fact that European countries and international organizations do not see above mentioned as a goal, Project IHRC undertakes this function in order to provide more transparency and doability. Thus, Project IHRC will promote the work of human rights activists in Europe that strive to raise awareness about “silenced” human rights violations. Thereby, this project will seek to assist local human rights defenders, enabling them to speak effectively to regional and international organizations and apply their experience to strengthen advocacy in the target countries. European Information and Human Rights Center (EIHRC) is a branch of the Project IHRC which is based in Srasbourg. EIHRC adopted a status of the national organization by the Board's decision in 2013. The core functions of EIHRC include, but not limited to: 1. Conducting monitoring of ongoing violations of human rights 2. Promoting the rights for all 3. Assisting in the analysis of the voluntary reports over the problems and obstacles encountered while assessment/fact finding missions 4. Assisting in the preparation and conducting trainings 5. Conducting monitoring of the Europe’s media on rights violations indigenous for the EU 6. Preparing documents, reports or draft reports, summaries in response to particular requests, as well as substantive contributions to publications; 7. Building cooperation with the local Human Rights organizations and NGOs 8. Managing the library, enquiry services and the human rights database; 9. Representation
